It’s been over a week now since Glory 37 took place in Los Angeles, California. This kickboxing event’s main event featured the new middleweight champion, Jason Wilnis, putting it all on the line against opponent, Israel Adesanya. The match was closer than many anticipated with the ending considered by some to be rather controversial as evident by the raucous booing of the audience. The next event, Glory 38, will occur on February 24th in Chicago. Given the recent excitement generated from Glory 37, the kickboxing world is all abuzz with talk of the next competition.

Glory 38 already has some tough matches slated. This time the light heavyweight title will be up for grabs as current belt holder, Artem Vakhitov will match wits with Saulo Cavalari. This will be the third time these kickboxers face each other with each winning one time. Bragging rights for the winning record are on the line as the bell signals a new competition. Keep in mind Vakhitov has yet to be defeated with the exception of the match against Cavalari as part of Glory 20, almost two years ago.

A second event is being promoted for Glory 38 is a heavyweight bout between Chi Lewis-Parry and Catalin Morosanu. This will be Morosanu’s first appearance in the Glory series. Just recently announced was the addition of three super fights: Murthel Groenhart vs. Thongchai, Paweł Jędrzejczyk vs. Daniel Morales and Łukasz Pławecki vs. Niclas Larsen.
